Tragedy struck when my darling Musette died following a caesarean on 7 November 2003.

Her 10 puppies survived their first night, thanks to the devoted attention of two veterinary nurses. Then they were fostered by a wonderful flatcoated retriever bitch "Rowan" and her human support system. Thanks to their wonderful foster care, the 2 boys and 8 girls thrived.

When they were 4-5 weeks old, the pups began to come home and then my work started!
